World AIDS Day 2020 message
World AIDS Day falls on 1 December each year and is a day to show our support for people with HIV and to commemorate people who we have lost to the epidemic. It also raises awareness of HIV and AIDS care, treatment, research and prevention.
There has been significant progress in the response to HIV in Australia, but now more than ever more must be done to ensure nobody is left behind. While globally, it can be a very different picture – no one needs to die from AIDS, but many still do.
HIV is not over for anyone, until it is over for everyone.
