IDAHOBIT Day - Darwin

Friday 17th of May
10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Charles Darwin University - Blue 2A Acike Room

The 17th May is an important day in the calendar as it celebrates International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). At Charles Darwin University, following on from our very successful event last year, we are planning to broaden our inclusivity and bring another entertaining, insightful and delicious production.

When? 10am-12pm 17th May 2019 (set up from 830-930am)
Where? Blue Precinct, Building 2, Room 2a @CDU Casuarina Campus
What? As well as the many talents of local drag performers, we will have guest speakers, stalls, and more:

The theme for this year’s event is “Celebrate the Power of Love”

There will be cupcakes available via gold coin donation (proceeds donated to PRISM, a youth driven network for LGBTIQ youth right here in the NT), and a light morning tea made available, also by gold coin donation.

It is a free event! Proudly sponsored by NTAHC, QUTE, supported by Drag Territory, Dr Belinda and local community members.

Any queries please contact Dr Belinda Chaplin on 08 89466528 or Belinda.chaplin@cdu.edu.au or James Emery at NTAHC 89447777 james.emery@ntahc.org.au
