This training supports individuals, workplaces, and community groups on how to provide inclusive language for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex (LGBTI) people.

Your guide to inclusive language

Language plays an important component in our social interactions with all people. For LGBTI people, inappropriate use of language can have a negative impact on their everyday life.


By the end of this session, participants will have a greater understanding of the nuances of identity and appropriate language, which will enhance their abilities in interacting with LGBTI people.

Audience:

Anyone with an interest in understanding how you can best support LGBTI communities through the use of inclusive language.



Locations: Alice Springs & Darwin.
