Hey you mob our Aboriginal Sexual Health Program provides culturally appropriate education and health promotion resources for Aboriginal people and help you with your sexual health needs such as finding out about getting tested and treated for sexually transmitted diseases (STIs) and blood borne viruses (BBVs).
The work our Aboriginal Sexual Health Team does at NTAHC includes:

Increasing your awareness about sexual health, STIs and BBVs and providing you with information and resources through peer education, workshops, and information forums.
Support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who live with or are affected by STIs or BBVs.
Promoting safe sex and increasing your awareness about STIs and BBVs to decrease the rate of infections in your community.
Outreach and distributing safe sex products including condoms and water based lubricant, and information at community events and services.
Promoting freedom from harm and myths surrounding sexual orientation and gender identity issues including Sistergirls and Brotherboys.
Our Aboriginal Sexual Health team aims to cover remote NT Aboriginal communities for education and outreach. Please contact us if you’d like to invite us to come to your community. Call our Aboriginal sexual health staff in Darwin on 8944 7777 or Alice Springs on 8953 3172.
