This coming weekend marks the launch of five fabulous weeks dedicated to Queer/Pride festivals and events, kicking off with the vibrant Sugarbag Festival. We invite you to come celebrate with us and show your support for the LGBTQ+ community.

This June marks the beginning of a fabulous five weeks of Pride festivals and events, starting with the Sugarbag Festival. Join us as we celebrate diversity, inclusion, and love in all its forms.
Here's a calendar of events you won't want to miss:
Queer Territory (May 15 to July 12)
‘Queer Territory’ is the first significant survey exhibition of queer contemporary art practice in the NT, realised through the work of 20 artists spanning from the 1990s to today. The exhibition runs until 12 July 2025, and is proudly supported by Top End Pride Inc. and has been made possible with the generous assistance of the NT Government’s Office of Gender Equity and Diversity.

Week 1: Sugarbag Festival (May 30 - June 1)
Join us to kick off Pride Month with the electrifying Sugarbag Festival! This lively event promises a weekend packed with exhilarating activities, stunning performances, and meaningful community engagement. From art displays to live music, and interactive workshops to drag shows, there's something for everyone. Make sure to bring your friends, family, and an open heart!

Week 2 and 3: Darwin Pride (June 4 - June 15)

Week 3: Darwin Youth Queer Prom (June 13)
Calling all youth! Mark your calendars for the Darwin Youth Queer Prom, an evening designed to celebrate and uplift our younger members of the LGBTQ+ community. Expect a night filled with dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Week 4: Pilbara Pride (catch the last weekend June 20 to June 22)

End Pride Month on an exhilarating note with a journey to Kununurra for their Pride celebrations on June 27 and 28.
