Celebrating Darwin Pride
Each June, communities across the Northern Territory come together to celebrate Pride, recognising the diversity, strength and contributions of LGBTQIA+ people while promoting inclusion, visibility and connection.
This year's Darwin Pride Festival features a range of events for community members, families, allies and supporters to enjoy. The program includes the Festival Launch, Bubbles & Business, Family Fun Day, the Pride March, Pride Under the Stars and the Closing Picnic & Drag Bingo in the Park.
NTAHC is proud to support Darwin Pride and the volunteers, organisers and community members who make these celebrations possible. For close to four decades, we have stood alongside LGBTQIA+ communities, supporting events that foster belonging, connection and community wellbeing.
We'll be at Family Fun Day on Saturday 20 June at Bicentennial Park from 10:00am to 3:30pm, so come and say hello to the NTAHC team before we join the Pride March at 4:00pm.
To view the full program and keep up to date with events and announcements throughout the festival, visit topendpride.com.au or follow Darwin Pride on Facebook and Instagram.
We look forward to celebrating Pride with our community.
This Pride Month serves as a reminder to priorities your sexual health, practice safer activities, and support one another. It’s a busy and joyful time for many, so if you have any uncertainties, be sure to get tested. Remember to use condoms with lube, and don’t forget about PrEP for added protection!
